1. About us
InSilicoNext is a professional bioinformatics services company providing expert analysis, consulting, and publication support to researchers, PhD scholars, universities, biotech companies, and clinical institutions worldwide. Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis
- Genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics analysis
- Variant calling, annotation, and interpretation
- Custom bioinformatics pipeline development
- Biostatistics and data visualisation
- Drug-discovery and structural-biology support
- Manuscript writing and publishing services

2. Acceptance of terms
By using our website or services, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age, or accessing the services on behalf of a legal entity
- You have the authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or your organisation
- You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in their entirety
- You will use our services only for lawful research and academic purposes
Updates to these Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
3. Services & project engagement
Every project follows the same clear, four-step process:
- Step 1 — Inquiry
- You submit a project inquiry with your research requirements, data type, and objectives.
- Step 2 — Quotation
- We review your requirements and provide a detailed quote, including timeline and deliverables.
- Step 3 — Agreement
- You confirm scope, timeline, and payment terms. An NDA may be signed at this stage.
- Step 4 — Delivery
- We deliver the agreed results, reports, and figures. Post-delivery support is included.
Timelines, deliverables, and pricing are agreed before work begins. Any change to project scope after confirmation may affect the timeline and cost, and will be communicated to you promptly.
4. Client responsibilities
To ensure the successful delivery of your project, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely information about your research objectives, data, and requirements
- Supply data files in accepted formats (FASTQ, BAM, SAM, VCF, FASTA, BED, GFF/GTF, CEL, CSV, and similar)
- Ensure you have the legal right to share any data you provide, including compliance with institutional and ethical guidelines
- Respond to queries from our team in a timely manner to avoid project delays
- Review and provide feedback on delivered results within the agreed timeframe
- Make payments in accordance with the agreed schedule
- Not misrepresent project scope, intended use, or your identity when engaging our services
Data responsibility
You are solely responsible for ensuring that any data you share with us complies with applicable ethics approvals, institutional policies, and data-protection regulations.
5. Payment & refunds
All payment terms are agreed before a project commences. In general:
- Pricing is provided per project, following review of your requirements
- A deposit or full payment may be required before work begins, depending on project size
- Payments are accepted via the methods agreed at project confirmation
- All prices are quoted exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
- For larger or multi-phase projects, milestone-based payments may apply
Refund policy
- Refunds are evaluated case by case, depending on project stage
- If work has not yet commenced, a full refund may be issued on request
- Partial refunds may be considered if work is in progress and you wish to cancel
- No refunds are issued for completed and delivered work unless a quality issue is identified and confirmed by our team

6. Confidentiality & NDA
We take confidentiality extremely seriously. Across every engagement:
- All project details, research data, findings, and communications are treated as strictly confidential
- We will not disclose, publish, or share your data or results with any third party without your explicit written consent
- We are happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before any project data is shared with us
- Confidentiality obligations remain in effect indefinitely, even after project completion
- Our team members are bound by confidentiality agreements that restrict data access to assigned personnel only
NDA guarantee
We routinely sign NDAs before any project begins. Your unpublished research, raw data, and findings are never used, shared, or referenced beyond the scope of your project.
7. Intellectual property
Ownership of intellectual property in relation to deliverables is as follows:
- Your data & results
- All research data you provide, and all results, reports, and figures we generate for your project, remain your intellectual property upon full payment.
- Our methodologies
- Our proprietary pipelines, tools, methods, and internal workflows remain the intellectual property of InSilicoNext.
- Publication rights
- You retain full rights to publish findings from your project. We do not claim authorship unless explicitly agreed in writing.
- Website content
- All content on insiliconext.com, including text, graphics, and code, is owned by InSilicoNext and may not be reproduced without permission.
8. Turnaround & delivery
We are committed to delivering high-quality results within agreed timelines. Estimated turnaround times:
- Simple analysis
- 3–5 days
- Standard NGS project
- 1–2 weeks
- Large-scale / multi-omics
- 2–4 weeks
- Manuscript & publishing
- Agreed per project
Timelines are estimates and may vary with data quality, project complexity, and client responsiveness; we notify you of any delay as early as possible. Expedited delivery may be available for an additional fee—contact us to discuss urgent requirements.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- We provide services based on the data and information you supply, and are not liable for outcomes arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or improperly collected data
- Our liability for any claim arising from the use of our services is limited to the total fees paid by you for the specific project giving rise to the claim
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of research funding, publication delays, or reputational harm
- We do not guarantee specific scientific outcomes, journal acceptance, or peer-review results
- We are not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control, including poor data quality, late client responses, or third-party service interruptions
Interpretation remains yours
Our analyses are intended to support your research. Final scientific interpretation, conclusions, and publication decisions remain your sole responsibility.
10. Acceptable use
You agree to use our services only for lawful, ethical research purposes. The following are strictly prohibited:
- Using our services to analyse data obtained without proper ethical approval or consent
- Submitting data that violates applicable data-protection laws, patient-privacy rights, or institutional guidelines
- Misrepresenting your identity, affiliation, or the intended use of our services
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate our proprietary pipelines or methodologies
- Using our services for any fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful purpose
- Scraping, harvesting, or otherwise extracting content from our website without permission
Breach
Violation of these acceptable-use terms may result in immediate termination of your project without refund and, where applicable, reporting to relevant authorities.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate a project engagement:
- By you: you may cancel before work commences for a full refund. Cancellations after work has begun are subject to our refund policy (Section 5).
- By us: we may terminate if you breach these Terms, provide fraudulent information, fail to make payment, or engage in unethical conduct.
- Upon termination, any work completed to that point may be invoiced at a pro-rated amount.
- Confidentiality and intellectual-property obligations survive termination and remain binding.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If any provision is found unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update or modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and active clients will be notified by email of material changes. Your continued use of our services after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
