Compliance & Data Security

Confidentiality, secure data handling & reproducibility

Your research is valuable long before it’s published. Every project is handled with strict confidentiality, secure data management, and transparent scientific practices—from the first conversation to final delivery—so your information is protected and every analysis can be reproduced and verified.

Whether you’re an individual researcher, a university laboratory, a biotechnology company, or a pharmaceutical organization, we treat your data with the same professionalism and care.

Our Commitment

Integrity is more than accurate analysis

Scientific integrity also requires responsible handling of research data, transparent methods, and clear documentation. Every project is managed around three core principles.

Confidentiality

Your research remains yours—handled privately, shared with no one without your written authorization.

Security

Your data is protected throughout the project lifecycle, from transfer to secure delivery.

Reproducibility

Every analysis is fully documented and repeatable—never a black box.

Confidentiality

Your research stays confidential

Many projects involve unpublished findings, grant-funded research, intellectual property, or commercially sensitive datasets. Protecting that information is essential, and we treat it that way.

  • Confidential project handling
  • Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) when required
  • Restricted access to project files
  • Secure communication throughout the project
  • No sharing of datasets without written authorization
  • No public disclosure of client names or research without permission
Secure Data Handling

Designed to protect your research

Research data often represents years of work and significant investment. We apply secure handling practices throughout the project lifecycle, with access limited to personnel directly involved in your analysis.

  • Encrypted file transfer whenever appropriate
  • Secure storage of project files
  • Controlled access for authorized team members only
  • Regular backups during active projects
  • Version-controlled analysis workflows
  • Secure delivery of final results
Reproducible Science

Results that can be reproduced

Scientific results should be transparent and repeatable. Every project is documented so that another researcher can understand exactly how your results were produced.

  • Complete analysis methodology
  • Software names and versions
  • Parameters used during analysis
  • Reference databases
  • Workflow documentation
  • Publication-ready methods section (where applicable)
  • Clearly organized output files
Data Ownership

Your data always remains yours

Clients retain ownership of:

  • Raw datasets
  • Processed datasets
  • Generated results
  • Figures and tables
  • Scripts developed specifically for the agreed project (where applicable)
  • Final reports

We never claim ownership of your research findings.

Intellectual Property

Research belongs to the researchers

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • All scientific conclusions remain your intellectual property
  • We do not claim authorship or ownership of your research
  • Publication decisions remain entirely with your research team
  • Authorship follows accepted academic guidelines and journal policies
Compliance Support

Documentation for your institution

Depending on your project requirements, we can provide supporting documentation. If your institution requires additional documentation before a project begins, let us know during the consultation.

  • Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
  • Statements of Work (SOW)
  • Formal quotations
  • Project documentation
  • Reproducibility documentation
  • Software and workflow summaries
  • Version records for computational analyses

What we do not do

Transparency also means being clear about our boundaries. We do not share client datasets with third parties, publish client results without permission, or claim ownership of client research. We do not guarantee scientific outcomes or publication acceptance, perform clinical diagnosis or issue medical reports, or conduct wet-laboratory experiments or sample processing. Our work focuses exclusively on computational bioinformatics, data analysis, scientific reporting, and research support.

FAQ

Confidentiality & security questions

What researchers and institutions most often ask before sharing data.

Yes. We are happy to sign reasonable Non-Disclosure Agreements before confidential discussions or project initiation.
Only authorized team members directly involved in your project have access to your research files.
No. Your data is never shared with third parties without your written permission.
Yes. Most of our projects involve unpublished datasets, manuscripts, grant-funded research, or confidential institutional studies.
Yes. Every project includes documented methods, software versions, parameters, and workflow information to support reproducibility.
Project files may be retained securely for an agreed period to support revisions or follow-up requests. If your institution requires deletion after delivery, we can accommodate that requirement on request.

Our promise

Every project is built on trust. Responsible bioinformatics is not only about producing accurate results—it is about protecting confidential research, documenting every analytical step, and maintaining the highest standards of scientific integrity. Whether your project involves ten samples or ten thousand, we handle your research with the professionalism, confidentiality, and transparency it deserves.
